Easy Veg Hakka Noodles Recipe – Spicy Street Style Noodles

We are making hakka noodles veg recipe , so for hakka noodles preparation we need following :

~INGREDIENTS:

Take out all the ingredients required for making veg hakka noodles and chop the vegetables
  • 200g Hakka Noodles
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Small Onion (sliced)
  • 1 Red & Yellow Bell Pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Small Capsicum (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Small Carrot (julienned)
  • ½ Cup Cabbage (shredded)
  • ½ Cup Mushrooms (sliced)
  • ½ Cup Spring Onions (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Schezwan Sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt to Taste

~ METHOD:

1. BOIL THE NOODLES

Boil Noodles untill al dente

Take a pot, boil water, and put the Hakka noodles along with a pinch of salt and a few drops of oil. I have used chings hakka noodles .Boil until they are 90% cooked. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.

2. STIR-FRY THE VEGGIES

Stir fry the veggies in pan

Heat a wok or pan, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and let it heat up. Add minced garlic and sliced onions. Stir-fry for a minute until fragrant.

Now, add in our bell peppers, capsicum, carrot, mushrooms, and cabbage. Cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes, keeping the veggies crunchy.

3. SEASON & SAUCE IT UP

Lower the flame and add soy sauce, vinegar, Schezwan sauce (if using), and tomato ketchup. Mix well.

Season with black pepper, chilli flakes, oregano, and salt. Give it a quick toss.

4. ADD NOODLES & MIX

Now, add the boiled noodles to the pan and mix everything well. Toss on high heat for a minute to coat the noodles evenly with the sauces.

5. GARNISH & SERVE!

Turn off the heat and sprinkle chopped spring onions on top. Serve hot with extra Schezwan sauce or ketchup on the side!
