Salsa dip – Best Mexican Dip!

Salsa is used in variety of dishes like nachos , tacos or to have it as a dip with crackers or in mexican rice bowl / burrito bowl . Here\’s a quick and easy salsa dip recipe that\’s fresh and full of flavor!

~INGREDIENTS:

  1. 3 ripe tomatoes diced
  2. 1 diced small onion
  3. 1 jalapeño finely chopped (adjust for spice level)
  4. 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  5. 1 chopped clove garlic
  6. Juice of 1 lime
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  9. 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder & paprika
  11. 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional for smoother texture)

~ METHOD:

  • Take a large bowl , add the diced tomatoes, onions , jalepenos and minced garlic.
  • Add salt to taste, chilli powder, paprika, pepper , cumin powder and lime juice .
  • Now add finely chopped cilantro/coriander and olive oil.
  • Mix these all well and let the salsa sit for about 15 mins to combine all the flavours.
  • Serve it as a dip with nachos, tortilla ,wraps and crackers.

PRO TIP: You can blend the salsa in mixer grinder for smooth texture.
