How to Make Burnt Garlic Rice at Home

Burnt Garlic Rice is a simple yet delicious Indo-Chinese dish with the star ingredient—golden, crispy bits of burnt garlic—adds an irresistible depth of taste.

~Ingredients:

  • 2 cups boiled long grain rice (preferably basmati)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 10-12 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • ½ cup spring onions chopped
  • 1 small capsicum finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrot finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp onion garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp vinegar (optional)

~Method:

1. Stir Fry the garlic

Take a pan stir fry the garlic let it turn golden brown but Don\’t burn it. Keep it aside we will use this for garnishing too.

2. Cook the vegetables

Take a wok add all the vegetables onion , capscium and carrots. Saute it and cook it well.

3.Toss the rice

Now in the wok after the vegetables are cooked enough add the cooked/ boiled rice and add the soy sauce ,vinegar, salt ,onion-garlic powderand pepper powder. Mix everything and toss well.

4. Garnish it off

After the rice is combined well , garnish it off spring onions and burnt garlic.

Tempting Flavourful Burnt Garlic Rice is ready to eat ,serve hot !
